We supposes that Dardano, as from legend founder of Cortona, has lost its helmet here in Torreone during a battle with the people of the place. From the helmet, in Greek korys derives the name of the hotel RistoArte * Corys. The whole zone has been for long time a fortress of the Etruschis and it possesses an archaeological and cultural wealth to discover, numerous testimonies of Romans, medieval and Renaissance influences. In this suggestive stage You find the Hotel RistoArte* Corys, a small and pleasant hotel de charme with seven rooms furnished in classical Tuscan style(of which a Suite with shower idromassaggio) and offers luxurious rooms, the greatest part with a marvelous view to the Valdichiana and the Lake Trasimeno.
The rooms are comforting and spacious, with TV, minibar, telephone and exclusive set of courtesy signed Pascal Morabito, the connection internet WIFI is free available on the whole structure. To the outside it has panoramic terraces to the Valley of the Lake used in the summer season for the service of breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Restaurant Corys revives in the styles and in the different colors of the paintings that will alternate in the months to come. Each of the artists paint in different way our Restaurant..... The refined and comfortable Restaurant Corys offers high quality cuisine, a very big selection of excellent Tuscan and italian wines and an outstanding service, with typical Tuscan dishes prepared by our chef all to satisfy your good taste. You'll enjoy also our tasting menus of seafood and porcini mushrooms. Breakfast and meals are served in the garden that overlooks the splendid Valdichiana valley and lake Trasimene. Guests can enjoy the crisp morning air and later the coolness of the midday shade.
Here You can see the photos of the completing of the restructuring of the month of November 2008 to magnify our wine cellar and to replace completely the floor of the Restaurant.
The Restaurant is open all week, exclused the monday for the lunch. By reservation, we can arrange receptions for special events.
